Best Reasons to Live in Windward or Alpharetta Georgia

Why I love Windward!Lake Windward Alpharetta Georgia

My wife, Debi,  and I live on Lake Windward and I can tell you there are plenty of homes for sale in Windward in a variety of different price ranges and individual Windward communities.

To search by individual Windward neighborhoods you can visit our site, http://www.windwardhomefinder.com/ and click on the Windward link in the center of the page. Our site is one of the only agent websites I know of where you can search by individual Windward neighborhoods.

There are over 2400 homes in Windward in more than 40 individual Windward neighborhoods ranging in price from $250,000 to many millions of dollars. The heart of Windward is the beautiful 197 acre private Lake Windward. This gorgeous, one of a kind, lake is flanked by the prestigious, private, 36-hole Golf Club of Georgia on the north end and the private membership Windward Lake Club to the west. The lake club features 20 tennis courts, an Olympic sized pool, marina, tennis center and a new aqua leisure facility complete with exciting water slide and zero entry pool.

Other Windward amenities in Windward include the Windward sports park with a huge children’s playground, areas for picnics, basketball, football, softball and soccer. Windward community associations include the Windward Association of Retired Men, Windward Bridge Club, Windward Homeowners Inc., and the Windward Women’s Club. Windward was voted the best overall development in Atlanta by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. For more information visit http://www.windwardcommunity.org/ .

We chose to live in Windward not only for the beautiful homes, great schools and green spaces, but also the convenient access to shopping, dining, business and recreation areas just outside of the community. You can drive in any direction out of Windward and in just minutes find all of the shopping, dining, professional services, parks and recreation areas that you need. From North Point Mall ( http://www.northpointmall.com/) to our new state of the art outdoor amphitheatre opening in Spring 2008 (http://www.vzwamp.com/ ) to the new Prospect Park (http://www.prospectparkonline.com/) with a 6 star luxury boutique hotel, private residences (http://www.thestanburyresidences.com/ ) and The Forum Collection (http://www.prospectparkonline.com/retail.asp ) a unique, upscale shopping experience unmatched in the area to parks and recreation areas like The Big Creek Greenway (http://alpharetta.ga.us/index.php?p=136 ) , the Wills Park Equestrian Center (http://alpharetta.ga.us/index.php?p=221 ) and Webb Bridge Park (http://www.alpharetta.ga.us/index.php?p=219 ) . Oh, and did I mention the huge medical facility featuring doctors in almost every field of expertise just around the corner. (http://www.northside.com/locations/alpharetta.aspx ).

As you can tell we love Windward and my opinion is definitely biased. If you would like a private boat tour of the lake and gorgeous homes currently available just give us a call.

There are plenty of other great neighborhoods in the area. My wife and business partner, Debi, loves to go home shopping and knows almost every neighborhood in the area. If you would like us to send you a relocation package and/or create custom searches that alert you of new listings that fit your criteria just drop us a line at info@keylocationsforyou.com or give Debi a call at 770-906-0317. She loves to talk home shopping 24/7.

This looks beautiful. I would love to live on the water. Right now, I host a three hundred thousand dollar view of another town house.
