Three Tasty Reasons to Visit Vickery Village in South Forsyth County, Georgia

This weekend is supposed to be gorgeous, sunny and in the mid 60’s…a great time to shake off the winter blues and get out and about. How about dropping by Vickery Village. There is plenty to do inside and out. Here are at least three good reasons to drop by:
1. Sidney’s Pizza Parlour - I strolled in here for the first time today after tending to one of my investment properties around the corner. While driving through the shops I was enticed by the savory aroma of one of my favorite foods..PIZZA. I decided to stop in for a bite. I was greeted at the door with warm smiles and the sound of laughter from families having a good time. It was already getting busy on this Friday afternoon so I sat at the bar and ordered a veggie pie. The service was excellent…great atmosphere…pizza was mouth-watering and the price reasonable. There is also an arcade to keep the kids occupied while you wait for your meal. This seems like the perfect family hangout for this spring &  summer after your little league game, a day at the park, etc. They do a brisk to-go business as well. Word has it they will soon open a southern style restaurant upstairs. If you stop by tell Julie that Deryk sent you. Sidneys also caters and handles special events, parties etc. Visit them online at www.sidneyspizza.com

2. Cinco Mexican Cantina - Ready to go south of the border for fun and great food? Get your weekend on at Cinco Vickery Village. Grab a cold draft or a tasty Margarita and get ready for some great Mexican cuisine in a casual, yet highly sophisticated environment. Here’s what the owners say about FIVE (CINCO) :

“The food and décor sets the tone, in both quality and vibrant presentation. While taste is of the utmost importance, we believe that the ambiance is welcoming due to the live music and friendly staff.”

3. Sogno Gelato - How about something lighter? Sogno Gelato offers Italian Ice Cream (Gelato and Sorbetto),  Bubble Tea (you have to try this), tasty grilled Paninis, Italian Coffee and Tiramisu. A perfect little Italian desert cafe with a an inviting courtyard great for soaking up the warm afternoon sun with family, friends or a good book.

Finished eating? Time to shop at one of the many boutiques that Vickery Village has to offer…or finish off your visit by pampering yourself at Joseph & Friends Lifestyle Salon & Spa. There is so much to do you are sure to find something that you are looking for here at Vickery Village.

I have confirmation now from Chari, one of the owners at Sydney’s Pizza that “Mommy Francis - down home cook’n, will open at the end of next week.” right above Sydney’s Pizza. If the food and service are as good as Sydney’s it’s sure to become a local favorite.
